Tommy Robinson faces more charges before he’s even released from prison

Tommy Robinson has been charged with harassing two men a week before he is set to be released from prison.
Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed for repeatedly lying about a Syrian refugee.
He was told yesterday he will be released by next week after having his sentence reduced, but he has now been accused of two counts of harassment causing fear of violence in August.
He has also been accused of failing to provide the Pin for his mobile phone when stopped by Kent Police in Folkestone in July 2024.
Since being jailed in October, Robinson, who is held at HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes, has lost two legal battles related to his imprisonment.

He went against the courts in July during a rally in Trafalgar Square and aired a video, called ‘Silenced’, to his supporters.
The video shows a refugee being assaulted by another pupil in the playground at a school in Huddersfield, which was broadcast despite a judge previously calling it contempt of court.
After a clip of the incident went viral, Robinson made false claims on Facebook, which included the victim, Jamal Hijazi, attacking girls in his school.
Mr Justice Nicklin ordered Robinson to pay Mr Hijazi £100,000 in damages and his legal costs, as well as making the injunction preventing Robinson from repeating the allegations.
