The only thing between you and millions of pounds in your bank account is picking six random numbers.

The National Lottery results were announced last night with a £8.7million jackpot up for grabs.

If that life-changing money wasn’t enough, there was also £500,000 to be won in the Thunderball draw.

The Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday.

What are the winning National Lottery numbers?

The National Lottery Lotto winning numbers are:

02, 14, 34, 37, 48, 52 and the Bonus Ball is 29.

The National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers are: 04, 07, 27, 32, 37 and the Thunderball is 10.

But no one managed to match all six Lotto numbers, so the prize pot has rolled over to Saturday, with a mammoth £ 11.4million up for grabs.

According to the National Lottery, at least one £2 ticket holder has become a millionaire after matching all five numbers and the bonus ball.

At least 36 people are being written cheques for £1,750 for matching five numbers.

If no one bags the jackpot after five plays, a Lotto Must Be Won draw takes place.

No matter what, the grand prize is shared between players matching two or more main numbers.
